2006/12/27 - Wednesday Morning Zodiac cruising around Elephant Island, a desolate place where twenty-two members of Shackleton's Endurance expedition spent 135 days in 1915 after being stranded
2006/12/28 - Thursday All landings (including Moon Bay) at the South Orkney Islands cancelled because of weather and ice
2006/12/29 - Friday Sailing to South Georgia
2006/12/30 - Saturday Landing at Grytviken, South Georgia
2006/12/31 - Sunday Sunrise landing at Gold Harbour on South Georgia Island with great views of the towering snow-covered peaks of Mt. Paterson followed by a landing at Godthul, South Georgia Island (substituted for Saint Andrews because of weather) later in the morning
2007/01/01 - Monday Concentrating on the north coast of South Georgia Island with a morning landing at Salisbury Plain to see King Penguins followed by a later morning landing at Prion Island located in the Bay of Isles to see the magnificent Wandering Albatrosses with an afternoon Zodiac cruise around Right Whale Bay and a twilight Zodiac cruise at Elsehul
2007/01/02 - Tuesday On board the Clipper Adventurer in the Southern Ocean sailing by Shag Island as we head to the Falkland Islands
2007/01/03 - Wednesday On board the Clipper Adventurer in the Southern Ocean sailing to the Falkland Islands under worsening weather conditions
2007/01/04 - Thursday No photographs today as we are on board the Clipper Adventurer heading at a speed of 5-6 knots towards the Falkland Islands while enduring 30 foot seas and winds at 65 knots (will we ever get off this ship???)
2007/01/05 - Friday Finally made it to the Falkland Islands with a morning stop at George Island at the southern entrance to Falkland Sound and an afternoon stop at Bleaker Island south of East Falkland
2007/01/06 - Saturday Arrived at Port Stanley, Falkland Islands, for a morning birding hike at the top end of Cape Pembroke, lunch at the Upland Goose in Port Stanley and an afternoon departure to Santiago, Chile, from Mt. Pleasant Airport
